The solar powered roof vent is a smart alternative to conventional roof vents because the solar panel collects power directly from the sun and converts it into electricity. This energy operates the high efficiency, durable 24-volt DC motor inside the power vent. The sun powers the motor, so there’s no added cost for electricity. Unlike most electric power vents that are regulated by a thermostat, the solar powered roof vent works continuously from sunrise to sunset, keeping the attic ventilated all day long instead of waiting for the attic to get overheated.
